Recycling: Home | Recycling Guide

The recycling center is located at 221 Water Street, Glenwood City, WI 54013 across from the community center. An ID card is required and can be obtained from the City Clerk.

Glenwood City Recycling Center and Burn Site Yearly Hours

Tuesdays: 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Wednesdays: 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

LANDFILL IS CLOSED DURING WINTER (Nov. - March)

You will be fined for depositing items after the Recycling Center is closed.

Town of Forest residents are allowed to bring recyclables only to the center. An ID card is required and can be obtained from the Town of Forest clerk.

ORDINANCE 8-3-9
It is mandatory to recycle in the City of Glenwood City. Any person who violates a provision of this ordinance may be issued a citation by the Glenwood City Police Department. Fines are $50.00 for the first violation, $200.00 for a second violation, and not more than $2,000.00 for a third or subsequent violation.
